🌿My Silent Sunday Moment With God
Good afternoon, my beautiful readers 💚
Today is Silent Sunday, and let me tell you… this one felt different.
Today wasn’t loud.
It wasn’t rushed,
wasn’t chaotic,
was peaceful. It was still. It was God speaking in a way I could finally hear.
And the crazy part is… nothing around me had to change.
I did.

Sometimes we think we need noise to feel alive.
Music. Conversations. Distractions.
But today reminded me of something powerful:
👉 God doesn’t compete with noise… He waits for silence.
When I slowed down today, when I sat in the quiet…
that’s when I felt Him the most.
Not in a loud voice…
but in peace.
⛪ Storytime: A Sunday Full of Faith, Family, and New Beginnings
Today was beautiful in so many ways.
I went to church, and y’all… service was amazing.
It’s Easter, and even though I don’t celebrate it personally, the church showed so much love. They had events for the kids, gave out Easter baskets, and even blessed the older kids with money.
Just seeing the smiles… it did something to my heart.
After church, me and Avery went to the market.
And let me tell you something that made me so happy…
👉 Avery decided he wants to start eating healthier.
Y’all don’t understand… that meant so much to me.
We walked through picking out fruits, thinking about better choices, and just growing together.
But the biggest moment?
Avery made the decision to join the church.
Last year, me and my kids got baptized…
And this year?
Avery is stepping into that same faith.
That moment right there… I can’t even explain it.
It felt like alignment. Like God saying,
“You’re not walking this journey alone.”
And if you know Avery, you know he’s gifted.
He plays music.
sings.
creates beats.
He’s already pouring into the church in his own way… and now he’s stepping deeper into his faith.
That’s powerful.
🎸 Rediscovering Me: Healing Through Music and Growth
And let me tell you something else…
A few days ago, I did something for me.
I ordered a guitar.
As a little girl, I always wanted to play.
The guitar. The piano. Music.
But life had other plans.
I became a computer girl. Focused on survival, learning, growing… doing what I had to do.
But this year?
I’m tapping into that young girl version of me again.
The one who dreamed.
one who imagined.
The one who wanted more.
My electric guitar comes tomorrow, and baby… I’m excited!
Practice, practice, practice… I’m ready.
Because healing doesn’t just come from praying.
Sometimes…
Healing comes from becoming who you were always meant to be.

Because being still isn’t easy.
But it’s necessary.

- You don’t always need answers… you need stillness

- Healing isn’t always seen… but it’s always happening
And most importantly…
👉 God speaks clearest when your mind is at peace
