Is your life today what you pictured a year ago?
🍨 THE UNTOLD CHAPTER -invites you on a life reflection and healing journey.
Welcome, my beautiful reader to The Untold Truth Chapter

Is Your Life Today What You Pictured a Year Ago?
A year ago, I had a picture in my mind.
Not sharp. Not perfect.
Just a hope wrapped in prayers and quiet expectations.
I thought I knew what my life would look like by now.
Where I’d be standing.
How I’d feel.
Who I’d be.
But here’s the truth no one really talks about
life doesn’t unfold the way we imagine it.
It unfolds the way we need it to.
Some things came true.
dreams fell apart.
Some doors I begged God to open stayed closed.
And other doors I didn’t even knock on swung wide open.
There were moments I cried over the version of life I didn’t get.
Moments I felt behind.
Moments I questioned if I was doing enough, being enough, healing fast enough.
But then I looked closer.
I saw growth where there used to be fear.
Peace where chaos once lived.
Boundaries where I used to overextend myself.
Faith where doubt once sat heavy.
My life today may not match the picture I painted a year ago,
but it matches the woman I’ve become.
And maybe that’s the real blessing.
If you’re reading this and feeling disappointed that life doesn’t look the way you imagined
pause.
Look at who you are now.
what you survived.
Look at what no longer breaks you.
Look at how much softer, wiser, stronger you’ve become.
Sometimes God doesn’t give us the life we planned
because He’s giving us the life that will heal us.
And maybe…
this chapter is exactly where we’re meant to be.
✨ Motivation:
If your life doesn’t look like the plan you once had, don’t call it failure. Call it redirection. Growth often happens quietly, without applause.
✨ Bible Verse:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” — Jeremiah 29:11
✨ What I Learned:
I learned that disappointment doesn’t mean delay—it means transformation. I’m learning to trust God even when the picture in my head fades.
