There are men who enter your life loudly, making promises they can’t keep.
And then there are men like Avery
the kind who walks in quietly, steady, and sure,
and changes everything without even realizing he’s doing it.

Avery didn’t come into my life to save me.
He came to stand with me especially on the days my body felt weak and my faith felt tired.

As I walked through my lupus journey, learning my limits, honoring my body, and trusting God with my healing, Avery became love without pressure.
He didn’t rush my pain.
didn’t question my bad days.
He never made me feel like my illness defined who I am.

Instead, he covered me in patience.
He prayed with me and for me.
reminded me to rest when my spirit wanted to push.
He loved me through flare-ups, fatigue, tears, and silence.

And now, I stand in a place I never thought I would reach.
I am in forever healing from lupus not because the journey was easy, but because God carried me through it.
Because God restored my strength.
Because God listened when I cried in private.

And because Avery never left my side.

I thank God for my healing.
I thank God for His mercy over my body.
And I thank Avery for loving me gently while God did what only He could do.

I’ve learned that healing isn’t just physical it’s emotional, spiritual, and rooted in faith.

he protects it.
