Today was one of those quiet victories that only God and I fully understand.

The First Lady spoke softly and said, “Turn your Bibles to Joshua 14:6.”
And in that moment, my hands didn’t shake.
My mind didn’t panic.
I turned the pages… and there it was.
Joshua.
Chapter 14.
Verse 6.
On the first try.
I smiled so hard my soul felt it before my face did.
Not because it was a big thing to others, but because it was a big thing to me.
I’ve struggled remembering book names, flipping pages fast enough, feeling behind.
But today? Today I felt capable. Present. Confident while experiencing a spiritual growth moment in church.
That wasn’t me alone.
That was God guiding my fingers, reminding me that progress doesn’t have to be loud to be powerful.
Sometimes pride comes wrapped in peace.

Celebrate the moments that seem small to others but mean everything to you.

I learned that confidence grows when I keep showing up.
God honors effort, not perfection.
