I came a long way to share this with you. 🍨 THE UNTOLD CHAPTER
Welcome, my beautiful reader to The Untold Truth Chapter.
Where the healing is honest, the transformation is real,
and every poem carries a piece of the journey.
Today’s chapter is for the survivors.
The ones who kept walking even when the road felt impossible.
The ones who fought battles no one ever knew they were fighting.
The ones who can finally say with their chest and their spirit:
“I came a long way.”
I Came a Long Way — A Poetic Chapter About Growth, Scars & Becoming
There is something powerful about looking back at the old versions of yourself…
the broken one,
the tired one,
the one who thought she would never make it out.
This poem is not just a reflection
it’s a celebration.
A testament.
A victory chant for every piece of you that refused to quit.
🌿 The Poem: I Came a Long Way
I came a long way from the tears I’ve cried,
From nights I sat alone, with pain I tried to hide.
From whispers in the dark that told me I’d break,
To rising with courage I didn’t know I could make.
I came a long way from the fear and doubt,
From people who left when the lights went out.
From broken dreams scattered in the dust,
To building new ones on self-love and trust.
I came a long way through fire and rain,
Through silent battles and invisible pain.
From “I can’t do this” to “Watch me try,”
From hanging my head to holding it high.
I came a long way from who I used to be,
To becoming someone stronger, finally free.
The path wasn’t easy, the scars still stay,
But they remind me I came a long way.
“Your journey is proof that even the darkest roads can lead to beautiful destinations.”
✨ Motivation of the Day
Your past may have built you,
but it does not define you.
Every scar is evidence of a battle won,
every tear is proof of a heart that kept beating,
and every sunrise you’ve lived to see
is the universe saying,
“You weren’t meant to stay where you were. You were meant to grow.”
✨ Bible Verse
Isaiah 43:2 (NIV)
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you.”
You didn’t walk this journey alone.
Grace carried you.
God covered you.
And that’s why you came a long way.
✨ What I Learned
I learned that growth doesn’t mean perfection it means progress.
I learned that pain can either destroy you or shape you, and I chose to be shaped.
And I learned that no matter how dark the chapter,
light always finds its way back to me.
