Positive Events in My Life Over the Past Year
Over the past year, so many blessings have unfolded in my life some loud, some quiet, but all meaningful. One of the biggest positive events was finding real love and stability with my husband, Avery. Our relationship grew into something solid, supportive, and God-centered, and we sealed that love by getting married on July 31, 2025. Becoming a wife brought a new level of peace, partnership, and purpose into my life.
Another major positive change was my spiritual growth. I started going back to church and attending Bible study every Wednesday. God has been healing me in ways I didn’t expect mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically. My journey through illness, becoming vegetarian, taking better care of my body, and learning to listen to God has strengthened my faith and resilience.
My family also experienced beautiful moments.
with Raysean and Maria, grew more connected with Avery, building trust, routines, and joy together from cooking, drawing, laughing, and going to church as a family. Watching my children blossom emotionally and academically has been one of the brightest blessings.
Academically, I made major progress: I continued pursuing my BA in Psychology with a concentration in Mental Health Counseling and gained more confidence in my career path. I’ve grown into my purpose helping others heal.
Creatively, I launched and rebuilt my blog The Untold Chapter, expanded my writing, and started sharing my truth, poems, and testimony with the world. My writing became a safe space not just for me, but for others too. I built a website, organized my pages, grew my Pinterest, and created a stronger online presence.
And through all of it, I have grown into a stronger, wiser, softer, and more grounded version of myself. I learned to set boundaries, speak up, love deeper, and choose myself without guilt.
This past year hasn’t been easy… but it has been transformative. God carried me, healed me, reshaped me, and prepared me for a future that finally feels like mine.
