✨ The Story Behind the Poem

Breaking Chains, Finding Freedom was written from a place of deep reflection the part of the journey where healing becomes real, where old versions of yourself finally fade, and where God steps in to reveal who you truly are.

This poem speaks to the woman who has survived storms, carried wounds in silence, broken generational patterns, and finally realized:

💛 She is not who she used to be.
💛 She is who God is shaping her to become.

It’s about rediscovering identity, facing the past with courage, and finding freedom not in the world, but in God’s love and your own inner strength.

This is your reminder that freedom is not a destination — it’s a spiritual awakening.

✍️ Poem: Breaking Chains, Finding Freedom ✨

I try to be the best I can,
To hold my ground, to take a stand.
I reach for freedom, chase the light,
But once was lost inside the night.

I searched for the girl I used to be,
But she’s no longer a part of me.
Her story’s written, her time is done,
Now I rise as a stronger one.

I wear the scars, I faced the rain,
I broke the cycle, I left the chains.
Still I wonder, what does it mean,
To call myself free, to live the dream?

Why chase freedom? Because I knew,
The life I lived was never true.
I didn’t fight, I didn’t see,
The power God had placed in me.

Now freedom whispers through my soul,
A quiet voice that makes me whole.
It’s not the world, it’s not the key,
True freedom lives right here in me.

🌸 “She remembered who she was, and the chains fell away.” 🌸
